July 11th, 2014: Oil on Board, Work in Progress. I'm trying to get through the background and in to the foreground. I've gotten used to working wet into wet and it's been challenging with dry areas and wet areas, I keep repainting certain spots because it's so hard to tell what it will look like when it's all dry and then varnished. Blacks are especially tricky, they look so much darker when wet. Anyways, it's getting there, I can't wait to see it finished!
