SOLD!
June 6th, 2014: Oil on Board, 6" x 6". This peony was brought home for me from the gallery in Taos and I found this little Japanese vase at the thrift store. I've since been staring at this pair sitting on our coffee table and hoping the flower would last long enough for me to get the chance to paint it. It made it, barely! I had forgotten how strong these are, the smell reminds me of early summers when I was little.
