SOLD!
May 6th, 2014: Oil on Board, 6" x 6". For some reason there are more chives growing in my garden than I will ever use, I always overestimate these things. It seemed sort of daunting trying to paint all these chives in a bunch when I sat down to do it, until I remembered my latest trick. Lately, when I've been painting and the subject matter seems overwhelming and I don't know what to do I take my glasses off and view it through an appropriate amount of blurriness and I realize I can actually paint this thing in front of me and I don't need to add every single little detail because I can't see them anyways. All I know is it's been working for me.
